       I, Ultanbekova Gulnar Dauletbaevna, was born in 1977 in the Republic of Kazakhstan. By nationality, Kazakh. I received my higher education at the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi. In 1998, I graduated from the Faculty of Biology with a specialty in "Biology", obtaining a bachelor's degree. From 1998 to 2000, I studied in the master's program in "General University Ecology" and defended my thesis. In 2009, I was awarded the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences. My professional career began in 2001 in Stepnogorsk, at JSC "Biomedpreparat Engineering Center", in the microbiological department of the US monitoring laboratory, as a junior researcher until 2008. In 2008, I worked as a marketer at the "Center for Biological Research" in Almaty. From 2009 to 2018, I worked at the Institute of Microbiology and Virology: from researcher to head of the antibiotics laboratory. In 2013–2015, as head of the "Biology of Nitrogen-Fixing Microorganisms" laboratory, under the guidance of Academician A.K. Sadanov, I participated in the development of "Rizovit-AKS" biopreparations for chickpeas, alfalfa, soybeans, peas, and lentils; resulting in 7 patents. In 2015–2017, I optimized the production of "Rozeofungin-AS, 2% ointment": equipment procurement, technological scheme, line launch, clinical trials, and registration. In 2021, I was awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after al-Farabi (Presidential Decree No. 709 dated December 6, 2021). I also received the medal "EREN EҢBEGI ҮSHIN" (Rector's Order dated December 9, 2021). In 2019–2020, I served as head of the "Soil Fertility and Biology" department at the Research Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry; modernizing the laboratory under a Science Fund project. Since 2018, I have been working at KazNU named after al-Farabi, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology: senior lecturer (2018–2021), associate professor since 2021. I teach: "Metabolism of Xenobiotics" (3 credits), "Biotechnology of National Fermented Milk Products" (3 credits), "Yeasts and Micromycetes in Industrial Biotechnology" (3 credits), "Processes and Apparatuses in Biotechnology" (5 credits), "Microbial Antibiotics" (3 credits), "Microbial Preparations Against Infections" (5 credits). Scientific activity: approximately 50 publications, 3 monographs, 7 patents.
